Classic Vanilla Tres Leches

Light vanilla sponge soaked in three milks — airy, cloud-soft and delicately sweet. This is the original, the one the other three are variations on: no cocoa, no rose, no hazelnut, just milk and vanilla doing all the work. Three hours' notice is all it takes, which is the time the sponge needs to drink up the milk. Eggless, single portion.
